Tom Dodd President, Executive Producer

As an accomplished Director and Producer, Tom has over four hundred TV programs to his credit, many of them award winners. Prior to forming Fission Media with Blaine Bertsch, Tom developed a variety of digital content for clients such as Shell Chemicals, Royal Alberta Museum and the Government of Alberta, acquiring over ten years of experience in the digital media industry. His experience in both the digital and film industries serve as the foundation for all of Fission Media's productions, where he now oversees the entire development process.

After leaving CBC Television in Vancouver, B.C., Tom spent eight years working for BBC-TV and ITV companies in the United Kingdom as a director and producer, followed by positions at CFRN Television and as Executive/Supervising Producer for ACCESS tv, where he worked closely with CHUM-TV’s Moses Znaimer. Tom is also an award-winning narrator.
